Unless otherwise specified in individual tariff items, where carrier is required to remove the container door due to the nature of the commodity being transported or by request of the shipper, a charge of USD125.00 per container will be assessed for such service. This charge must be prepaid and must appear on the Bill of Lading. When cargo is shipped with door(s) removed, whether at the express instruction of the shipper or due to the inherent nature of the commodity being transported, carrier shall not be held directly or indirectly responsible for: 1. Damage resulting from weather, improper packing, bracing, securing, mixing of cargo within containers or shipper's use of unsuitable or inadequate protective and securing materials; 2. Any discrepancy in count or concealed damage.
