1. Rates in this tariff offer the following services:

ATFI CODE: Y TARIFF ABBREVIATION: CY

   Definition:

CY cargo is that cargo loaded into or unloaded
from transport equipment by a shipper or consignee
outside of carrier's terminal facility. Bills of
Lading covering CY origin cargo must be claused
     "Shipper's Load and Count."
(See also Rules 2-110 and 21-010)

ATFI CODE: S TARIFF ABBREVIATION: CFS

   Definition:

CFS cargo is that cargo tendered to or received
from a carrier at his terminal and loaded into
or unloaded from transport equipment (container-
ized) or the vessel (non-containerized) by the
     carrier.

2. Permitted/Allowed vs Included/Inclusive

When the term "permitted" or "allowed" is used in
connection with a particular rate item to modify
services such as CFS at origin or destination, store
door delivery, etc., it means the service may be
performed provided that all applicable tariff charges
   for such services are assessed.

When the term "included" or "inclusive" is used to
modify such services, it means that the cost of
providing the service is included in the rate.

3. Export declarations and licenses - carrier may file
   but not prepare.

When specifically requested by the shipper or his
authorized representative, carrier may file (but not
prepare) an export declaration or export license
covering shipments on its own vessels.
   (See Rule No. 2-210).

4. Customs and other government inspection

   a. Delays and cargo demurrage

The carrier is not responsible for delays in
transporting or delivering cargo when such delays
occur on cargo detained by Customs, quarantine
officials or other government required cargo
      inspection organizations. Any demurrage charges
(see Rule 23) that accrue from such delays either
at origin or destination are for the account of
      the cargo.

   b. Documents

Shipper shall furnish to the carrier any documents
required by customs or other cargo inspection
      organizations (See Rule No. 2-210).

5. Drying agents for cargo in containers

When carrier furnishes dry cargo containers for the
carriage of commodities, the carrier may supply
necessary dessicants, such as silica gel, or reimburse
suppliers for this material. Carrier may not reimburse
shippers directly or indirectly for materials of this
   nature.
