1. When containers are packed and sealed by shipper,
the carrier or its authorized agent will accept same
as "Shipper's load and count" and the Bill of Lading
must be so claused. See Rules 2-010 and 21-010.
2. Carrier will not be directly or indirectly responsible
for:
a. Damage resulting from improper packing, bracing,
securing or mixing of cargo within containers,
or shipper's use of unsuitable or inadequate
protective and securing materials.
b. Any discrepancy in count or concealed damage.
3. Shipments destined to more than one (1) port of
destination may not be packed by shipper into the same
container unless prior permission has been granted by
carrier in writing.
4. Unless the shipper specifies exclusive use of a
container, (see Rule 2.090) carrier reserves the right
to pack cargo into any unused container space.
