For Artificial Atmosphere Containers (AC) where the carrier supplies the Artificial Atmosphere: 1. If a shipper requests the carrier to provide controlled atmosphere service, the carrier may provide such service and will assess the following charge for each refrigerated container used: USD1350/40' container 2. Controlled atmosphere service includes, but is not limited to, charging the container with a controlled atmosphere, monitoring the controlled atmosphere from origin to destination and returning the controlled atmosphere device to origin. All Bills of Lading covering shipments in which the carrier arranges for or directly furnishes artificial atmosphere control must be claused: "Artificial atmosphere control provided by carrier" c. The charge assessed for controlled atmosphere services will not be subject to currency adjustment factor nor to any other accessorial charge.
