GARMENTS ON HANGERS (G.O.H.)
1.Carrier may accept as CY cargo only, loose garments on
hangers (to be provided by the shippers) for shipment in
containers, with special hanger fittings provided by the
carrier (i.e. beams, metal or wooden; lining; plastic;
ropes). For such shipments freight shall be assessed at
85% of the total inside capacity of the container.
2.Shipper may pack both loose garments on hangers and other
commodities in cartons in the same container. Unless
otherwise specified, freight shall be assessed the per
revenue ton rate freighted at eighty-five percent (85 PCT)
of the total inside cubic capacity of the container plus
actual measurement of the cartons packed in the same
container; however, the total of such measurements shall
not exceed one hundred percent (100 PCT) of the total
inside cubic capacity of the container.
3.When cartons are packed in a container, cartons must be
measured by a carrier-appointed surveyor.
4.When a container contains more than one commodity, freight
charges shall be calculated at a rate applicable to the
highest rates commodity therein.
5.For the purpose of applying this rule, the total inside
cubic capacity of the container shall be:

For loose garments on hangers freighted at per container
rate, the following additional charge shall apply:
