1. MEAT, MEAT BY-PRODUCTS and POULTRY EXPORT CERTIFICATES
certificates (see also Rule 2-02C)

   a. U.S. Customs regulations requires the filing and/or
      submission of Meat Export Certificate/s for
      shipments of meat, meat by-products and poultry
      including edible tallow destined to foreign
      country/ies.

   b. These certificates must be submitted to the carrier
       prior to loading of cargo to vessel.

   c. The shipper or his authorized representative shall
      hold the carrier harmless on the goods by reason
      of non-compliance with Customs regulations.

2. EXPORT FRUIT CERTIFICATES

   a. Pursuant to the Export Apple and Pear Act and the
      Export Grape and Plum Act, every shipment of
      apples, pears, and grapes must be accompanied by
      a U.S. Department of Agricultural Certificate
      certifying that the fruit being exported is in
      compliance with all regulations.  Plums are not
      regulated at this time.

   b. Certificates must accompany the shipment and be
      presented to the carrier prior to loading..

   c. Shippers or their agents are responsible for any
      act or omission on their part which causes a fine
      or other penalty to be assessed against the ocean
      carrier.
