1.Where there is no destination terminal handling charge specified (n/a), wharfage, handling and terminal charges, if any, apply as per destination port terminal tariff, are outside of carrier's control, and are not covered by the charges in this tariff. 2.All destination terminal handling charges specified in this tariff must be shown on the Bill of Lading and collected prior to release of cargo. Charges may be prepaid by the shipper or collected either in U.S. Dollars or its equivalent in local currency from the consignee at the carrier's option and in accordance with the provisions in payment of freight Rule 7. 3.When destination delivery charges are shown in local currency of the destination country and said charges are prepaid in U.S. currency, the rate of exchange is that in effect on the date charges were paid. 4.When the destination terminal handling charge is prepaid on a CFS basis and consignee takes CY delivery of the container, a refund of the destination CFS charge will be made to shipper or consignee at shipper's option. CY delivery charge, where applicable, will be assessed.
