"On-board" shall mean on board a rail car, truck or barge operated by the originating carrier and enroute by rail, motor or barge to the port of loading for the carrier's vessel. In the case of an "on-board" endorsement, the naming of an vessel in this Bill of Lading is for convenience and is not a representation that the goods will be loaded to such vessel. A "shipped on-board vessel" Bill of Lading may be issued, upon shipper's request, after cargo is actually laden on board the vessel.
