2. ROUTING - APPLICATION:
Carrier reserves the right, in the event of operating
reasons, traffic congestion, or other emergencies,
to forward traffic via any route over the lines of
Carriers concurring herein, except that charges may
not exceed those applicable via the routes published
herein.
3. OPTIONAL DISCHARGE AND DIVERSION:
(Applicable ONLY within the scope of this Tariff)
All cargo which, at the request of the Shipper, is
stowed for optional discharge at two or more Discharge
Ports named in Rule 1 shall be assessed an additional
charge of $5.00 Per Ton as freighted.
Actual Ports of Discharge must be declared not later
than 48 hours prior to vessel's expected arrival at
the first Port of Discharge.
Freight rates on optional shipments shall be those
applicable to the actual Port of Discharge.
DIVERSIONS:
Upon request of the Shipper, cargo, at the option of
the Carrier, may be diverted from the original Bill
of Lading destination SUBJECT to the following
conditions:
A. An additional charge of $10.00 Per Ton as
freighted;
B. Written requests for diversion must be received by
the Carrier at least four days prior to the first
Port of Discharge;
C. In the event shifting costs exceed $10.00 per
revenue ton the additional costs for shifting
shall be for the account of the cargo;
D. Freight rates on diverted cargo shall be those
applicable to the actual Ports of Discharge.
