(A) Rates herein published apply per Weight Ton of 100
pounds (W) or per Measurement Ton of 1 cft. (M),
whichever basis yields the greater revenue, except as
otherwise specified.  Where rates are applicable per
unit, the rate basis "EA", signifying "Each" shall
be specified.  When two TRIs exist under the same commodity
description, From and To the same ports or points, and
one TRI applies on a Weight basis and the other applies
on a Measurement basis, compute the toatl charges for
each TRI and whichever basis yields the greater revenue
shall take precedence.

(B) All freight and other charges will be based on the
actual gross and/or actual over-all measurement of each
piece or package.  When cylindrical or spherical objects
are shipped, the measurements are to be taken on the
extreme outside dimensions and calculations be made as if
the object or objects were square or rectangular, as the
case may be, in order to allow for loss of stowage.
Measurements on irregular objects will be taken to the

(C) Measurements are to be taken in feet and/or inches.
All fractions under one half inch (1/2") are to be
dropped.  All fractions over one half inch (1/2") shall
be taken to the next full inch.

(D) Wharfage and handling charges are not included in the
freight rates published herein.

(E) If different articles are packed in the same package,
the rate of the highest rated article will apply on the
whole package.
